About Me

My name is Chelsea R. Boote. I am a multimedia artist, graphic designer, advertiser, web designer, and photographer.

I graduated from Concord University in Southern West Virginia in 2017, where I double majored in Advertising/Graphic Design and Studio Art. I have worked on some professional projects as well as other fun projects over the years. At Concord University, I studied different traditional art mediums as well as studying digital media and advertising. I am mostly a digital artist, but I also work with traditional media. My main form of traditional media is drawing and sketching. I also learned basic sewing.

My beginning of art started at a young age. I created my Stirling Family characters in 2009. I was 16 years old at the time they were created. I brought them to The Loud House universe in 2017 because they are somewhat similar to the Loud children as well as other characters on the show. I’ve been a fan of Nickelodeon since childhood. I’ve been a fan of The Loud House since it first aired because the show portrays different characters from a variety of cultures and personalities. Some of my own characters also come from different cultures. A few of my characters are LGBT and others even have disabilities. I really like that The Loud House introduced characters of different backgrounds and introduced a character with a disability. Other TV shows have also done that and I thought it was a great move, especially since I have speech disorder. It makes it easy for me to identify with the characters.

I was born in Portland, Maine, and raised in rural Gorham, Maine, until I was 13 years old. I lived in Southern Florida for a year before moving to West Virginia before I started my freshman year of high school. Apart from art, I also have interest in computers, collecting, and learning new things. I graduated high school with honors. However, I was diagnosed with Expressive Language Disorder in early elementary school. It is something I’ve had for most of my life and I believe it is important for the television audience to understand people with disabilities because I sometimes believe other people do not understand my learning disability.

While I am a life-long fan of Nickelodeon (Blue’s Clues, anyone?) I'm also a fan of shows that have aired on Cartoon Network, as well as Disney. Some of my other favorite cartoons that I grew up with are Rugrats

Spongebob SquarepantsLooney TunesEd, Edd, 'n Eddy, and The Powerpuff Girls.

I currently reside in Charleston, West Virginia, where I am planning to start my career as a graphic designer, multimedia artist, and web designer.

I am also a LGBT Rights and Disability Rights advocate. Even though I'm a grown adult, I'm still a child by heart. However, I still have my flaws. I am very responsible, a hard worker, and willing to try new things.

If I have a piece of advice, it is never grow up. Do grow up in a sense, but never give up what you liked when you were younger.
